Tammy Gray-Steele, National Women In Agriculture Association
“First Security Bank serves people professionally and with a sense of dignity,” Tammy Gray-Steele, founder, National Women In Agriculture Association (NWIAA) said. “They were happy to help us on our journey to reduce poverty by increasing access to fresh and locally grown food.”
Ms. Gray-Steele, an agriculturist and entrepreneur, is determined to make improvements in the agricultural sector. She also strives to be an advocate for women and children by empowering those who are socially and economically disadvantaged. With these two goals, she needed a place where she could create change and a sense of community.
Honored to be a part of her cause, First Security Bank provided Ms. Gray-Steele with a loan with capital, which allowed NWIAA to develop new food projects and finance safety repairs in their building.
